Event Description:

The regular practice of meditation can facilitate mind-body wellness in measurable ways.  Studies have documented the following improvements including:  elevated moods, increased immune  response, an increase in both creativity and cognitive function, the ability to cope with stressful situations with greater ease, a reduced respiratory rate which has positive effects on the heart and blood pressure.

The greatest benefit is that the regular practice of meditation can actually improve the brain.  After just a few months, meditation increases the cortical thickness of the hippocampus, which governs  learning and memory. Basically, it helps to keep your brain young.  Other benefits include increased attention, an increase in the ability to cope with stress, and an overall improved sense of well-being and happiness.

What you will learn:

•    Understanding the practice of meditation
•    A brief historic overview - and why it's become popular in mainstream business environments
•    Learn about top corporations that embrace meditation
•    An overview of the effectiveness of the DASA method
•    Learn many proven health benefits
•    Discover how meditation can enhance your business skills
