Cynthia Jackson-Hein - Impressionist Painter of Land and Life Healdsburg’s Upstairs Art Gallery is proudly featuring plein air painter, Cynthia Jackson-Hein, during the month of July, and will be exhibiting her “A Slice of Americana” collection. Cynthia’s paintings speak of times gone by, with a personal connection to the things she most loves in life – people, animals and landscapes. Jackson-Hein’s expressive brushwork and harmonious palette invite the viewer to escape. Born in a small town in Manitoba, Canada, Cynthia came to California and studied at the Art Academy University in San Francisco. Accomplished in both landscape and portraiture, she is available for commission work, and especially enjoys working from live models and landscapes on location. Jill Keller Peters Modernist and Impressionist oil painter, Jill Keller Peters, is featuring a collection of small scale minimalist abstractions and impressionist landscapes in the gallery’s Small Works Showcase. These paintings celebrate Keller Peter’s expressive color sense both in design and nature.
